Verified 10/10 of 10 criteria · checked 2026-07-27
Prime Peptides maintains a public /testing/ page with batch-linked CoAs from named third-party labs (Janoshik, Freedom Diagnostics, with BioViridian and Vanguard referenced), reporting HPLC-UV purity plus LC-MS identity and, on some reports, LAL endotoxin (USP <85>) and PCR microbial testing. CoAs are viewable without an account, carry recent (July 2026) dates, and include 32 pre-populated Janoshik verify-portal links; the underlying verification portal was Cloudflare-blocked to automated fetching but the mechanism is genuine. The company (Prime Vitality Inc. dba Prime Peptides) received an FDA warning letter dated 10 December 2024 for marketing unapproved GLP-1 products, and no public recall or complaints policy was found.
Criterion-by-criterion evidence
Every score below is a recorded, dated observation. Where we could not verify a claim, the criterion is marked Unverified and excluded from the score (but it still counts against coverage).
| Criterion | Wt | Finding | Evidence |
|---|---|---|---|
| Publishes CoAsThe vendor publishes at least one certificate of analysis (CoA) on its own website. | 3 | ✔ Yes | Dedicated /testing/ page hosts many CoA PDFs plus per-product summary cards; multiple CoA PDFs self-hosted on primepeptides.co (e.g. 2026/07 uploads). Source · 2026-07-27 |
| Batch-level CoAsCoAs are tied to a specific batch/lot number, not a single generic certificate per product. | 3 | ✔ Yes | CoAs carry specific lot/batch numbers (e.g. Freedom Diagnostics CoA 'Lot: 26062101'; page lists per-product batches like 4132026AD, 3292026CJI, 26071002). | Third-party lab namedThe name of the laboratory that ran the analysis appears on the CoA. | 2 | ✔ Yes | Labs are named: Janoshik (32 verify links), Freedom Diagnostics (CoA header), plus filenames referencing BioViridian and Vanguard; site also cites MZ Biolabs. Source · 2026-07-27 |
| Independent / accredited labThe lab is independent of the vendor and/or accredited (ISO 17025), or is a recognised independent peptide lab (e.g. Janoshik, MZ Biolabs). | 2 | ✔ Yes | Janoshik Analytics is a recognised independent peptide-testing lab; Freedom Diagnostics is an independent US lab. No ISO 17025 accreditation number stated on the CoAs seen. Source · 2026-07-27 |
| CoA verifiable at sourceThe CoA can be authenticated on the laboratory's own website (e.g. a verification code) — actually tested, not just claimed. | 2 | ✔ Yes | 32 pre-populated deep-links to individual records at Janoshik's verify portal (task ID + unique key embedded); Freedom Diagnostics CoA carries a Search Code. Could not personally complete a lookup as verify.janoshik.com Cloudflare-blocked my automated fetch (403), but the mechanism genuinely exists. Source · 2026-07-27 |
| Identity + purity methodsWhich analytical methods are identifiable on the published CoAs. | 2 | ? Unverified HPLC + MS | Freedom Diagnostics CoA states 'Identity (LC-MS) Confirmed' and 'Purity (HPLC-UV) 99.41%' with mass confirmation; Janoshik CoAs use HPLC + MS. Source · 2026-07-27 |
| Freshness of the latest CoADate of the most recent CoA visible on the site. | 2 | ? Unverified < 3 months | Several CoAs dated July 2026 (e.g. Testing-Wolverine-Blend-Jul-2026; Prim2607xxxxx files), within days of the 2026-07-27 reference date. Source · 2026-07-27 |
