PeptideTrust scores research-peptide vendors on one thing: how openly they document third-party testing. Every score is built from 10 weighted criteria, and every criterion links to the exact evidence we checked.
The transparency scoreboard
How scoring works →Ranked strictly by transparency score. The score measures documentary transparency — whether a vendor publishes batch-level certificates of analysis (CoAs) from a named, independent lab, verifiable at the source. It is not a measure of product quality or safety.

The 10 criteria
Each vendor is scored on these weighted, observable criteria. Higher weights carry more of the score. We only record verifiable, dated facts — never judgment about a product's safety or effectiveness.
Publishes CoAs
The vendor publishes at least one certificate of analysis (CoA) on its own website.
Batch-level CoAs
CoAs are tied to a specific batch/lot number, not a single generic certificate per product.
Third-party lab named
The name of the laboratory that ran the analysis appears on the CoA.
Independent / accredited lab
The lab is independent of the vendor and/or accredited (ISO 17025), or is a recognised independent peptide lab (e.g. Janoshik, MZ Biolabs).
CoA verifiable at source
The CoA can be authenticated on the laboratory's own website (e.g. a verification code) — actually tested, not just claimed.
Identity + purity methods
Which analytical methods are identifiable on the published CoAs.
Freshness of the latest CoA
Date of the most recent CoA visible on the site.
CoAs accessible before purchase, no account
CoAs can be viewed without a customer account or a prior purchase.
Sterility / endotoxin data published
Sterility or endotoxin (LAL) results are published in addition to purity.
Public complaints / recall handling
A public recall/complaint policy, or documented handling of a disputed batch.
